When I built this course, I had pool table-esque trajectory in mind. When minigolf courses have round borders and rails or bricks with spaces between, you're not guaranteed a fair bank. Assuming your ball will reflect at an equal angle the other way is paramount and I tried my hardest to keep all angles predictable during design and build. I even update and change parts on the course to make better paths.
