I know you need a CRT!

Do you need any last minute stocking stuffer ideas for that retro lover in your life? How does a nice 32" CRT TV sound?

This past summer, a good friend Dan Pease, working over at South Hadley (MA) High School, notified me that the school was scrapping their fleet of over 36 matching tube TVs. Not only were they matching, but were all a great series of 2001 TV; the JVC D-Series with stunning Panasonic tubes. Dan works with South Hadley Community Television - SHCTV, a great community organization that has some new plans coming up, btw! Check them out.

I rented a truck and nabbed them all, replacing all of my TVs in Prodigy. I have a few of these JVC's left, but many other, lighter, 32" TVs; Sharp, Toshiba, Sanyo and others.
